Kiss Me
Stretch your hands over the creases of my skin,
stained in hot cry lines.
Breathe into me with air that was never mine,
but ours,
and let it rest between the quarter inch gap of our noses,
prodding in desperation.
Tip my chin up and forget that we pretend I am taller,
for just a moment,
and let me be home.
